Isidore Leroy was one of France’s most important wallpaper manufacturers, known for producing beautifully printed papers from the late 1800’s through the early 20th century. Their designs ranged from elegant florals to Art Deco patterns, and they were celebrated for their use of rich color, softly textured papers, and wonderfully detailed motifs.
Calling all creative hands! This lovely fabric is French and dates from 1900. It's ideal for creative hands! This is a lovely faded cretonne fabric! CONDITION : This fabric is in original, unwashed as found condition and can be hand washed and hung to dry.

This fabric was found in antique dowry chest or cupboards as it was once used to make grain sacking for very heavy grain! The strip is the signature of which family farm the grain belonged to. This fabric also works beautifully as hallway carpeting, table runners, or rustic rugs.
