After carefully examining this porcelain piece, I found that virtually all of its characteristics are consistent with those of late Ming Dynasty Chongzhen-period porcelains. The only exception is the rim: brush pots from the Chongzhen period were rarely glazed along the rim, whereas this example does have a glazed rim.
