This Antique Chinese large, 17 inch tall, Rose Medallion vase is very impressive. It has a small bottle top opening with a gilded edge. There are 8 scenes in the medallions. 4 are flowers and butterflies. 4 are scenes with gatherings of people. The hand painting in the scenes is very well done and detailed. Even the facial features are of excellent quality. The approximate measurements are: Height: 17 inches ( ( 43 cm) Width at widest point: 9 inches (22.8 inches) Width of base: 5 1/2 inches ( 13.97) Weight: 13 pounds Excellent condition with no chips or cracks on the glaze of the vase. On the bottom of the vase there is a a spot where there is some roughage as can be seen in the photos.
