Briwax Liming Wax is a smooth paste formulation which produces a white grained finish to relatively open grained timber. The liming wax can be applied directly onto bare wood, or will work on sealed or stained timber. Some woods will benefit from opening the grain with a wire brush before application. The Liming Wax should be over coated with a hard finishing wax for a more durable finish. DIRECTIONS: Apply liming wax prior to using a finishing coat so that the grain is open and receptive to the liming wax. Can also be used to make vivid colors more pastel.
